Remains of dry scrub woodland acting as windbreak, secondary growth or deliberate planting. Notes Tree to 18m. Bark light srey-brown flaky. Old tree with several holes and bark very contorted at base of trunk. Petioles reddish, Flowers white and scented. Fruit black 10 x 7mm. Used in baths for fatigue "Bois cotlette".
