Bark reddish brown, to grey, verrucose, powdery surface, inner bark reddish, soft, corky 3! thick. Blaze reddish pink. Wood: sap straw, heartwood red-brown. Leaves bluish green, dense matted hairs beneath. Flowers light yellow. Fruit hard, woody cone, surface red brown, velvety. boeal name muru muru, Garaina dialect. Fam.
