LAMIACEAE Lindl. Nat. Syst. Ed. 2, 275. 1836. ACANTHOMINTHA LANCEOLATA Curran, Bull. Cal. Acad. 1: 13. 1884. No. 8605, collected May 31, on Mt. Hamilton, Santa Clara county, at Aquarius Spring, elevation 3850 feet, on steep grav- elly slopes. The leaves of these specimens are more ovate than lanceolate, and the flowers very slightly pink tinged, not “rose color.” The type was collected in Calaveras Valley, Alameda County,” and the species has since been found as far south as San Luis Obispo county.
