Forét de Betatao. 18°16'S 47°54'E 1400 m Herb growing in semi-shaded position on stream bank on forest margin. Stems decumbent at the base, rooting at lower nodes, then strongly ascending, some- times partly supported by surroundina vegetation, up to 1m highr but weaker stems much less. Inflorescence terminal, stronger stems sometiiies with smaller lateral ones in addition, variable in size up to +80 mm long.
