Asing ridge, 1 km west of camp. 0°38'S 112°17'E Alt: 315 m Habitat: Mixed dipterocarp forest, associates include Dipterocarpus, Myrtaceae, Meliaceae. Red caly soil. Field Char: Tree 15 m tall, 15 cm dbh. Outer bark teddish- brown, lightly rugose. Inner bark light orangish-red. Twigs with brown pilose hairs. Fruit yellow. Notes: Local name: Manyi.
