Tree, main stem 8 m tall, branches extending up to 12 m. Slightly reddish under bark, no obvious exudate, unpleasant odour. Leaves alternate, tough, with minute black stipules. Note glands at petiole apex, base abaxial side lamina, and margin. Fruit green, with two green appendages.
