Colombia, Risaralda, Pereira, Otun Quimbaya Sanctuary for Flora
and Fauna: Disturbed secondary forest. Along humedel path, near
the stream. After about 50 meter, at the HI sign.
4°43'39" N, 75°34'38" W Alt: 1891m
Sy Tree loosing big branches. Covered by Clusia and strangling
Moraceae.
Tree, main stem 8 m tall, branches extending up to 12 m. Slightly
reddish under bark, no obvious exudate, unpleasant odour. Leaves
alternate, tough, with minute black stipules. Note glands at petiole
apex, base abaxial side lamina, and margin. Fruit green, with two
green appendages.
