Triana Det: Brewer, SW May 2008 Stann Creek: Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary; southwestern Cockscomb Basin, close to the lowest part of the upper third of Mare's Nest Branch of the Swasey Branch of Monkey River. The Maya Divide, on a west-facing spur. 600 m 16°43'37" N, 88°43'S51" W Common vine, up to 6 m in Guatteria diospyroides. Green fruit (dehiscent?) up to 1 cm long. Collected in 70% isopropyl alcohol. Ridge forest dominated by Euterpe precatoria, Sloanea tuerckheimii & Pourouma bicolor. Understory rich in ferns, Psychotria elata, Synecanthus fibrosus, Rinorea guatemalensis & numerous Melastomataceae.
