Collecting locality: Brazil:Distrito Federál:Fazenda Agua Limpa (University of Brasilia field station), near Vargem Bonita, c. 18km SSW of Brasilia TV tower.
Habitat: On very wet soil on the margin of gallery forest (along the stream, which decends from below the Olha de Agua da Onça).
Description: Small tree, 4m tall; trunk 8cm in diam. at breast height. Petals white. Sepals (including glands) & staminal filaments pink.
