Description: 2 flowers horizontal to half hanging, dull red, no scent. Flwrs 20-22 x 17-20mm campanulate, tube 8-9 x 6-7 x 10-12mm with darker weakly depressed vertical stripe to the centre of each lobe, lobes 10-12 x 10-11mm overlapping 1/2-3/4 semi erect, stamens regularly arranged around mouth exserted to c.3mm, Pedicels 12xc.1mm, Style depressed to lower side of corolla, red with yellow stigma, Bracts to 9x4mm. Leaves in tight pseudowhorl sometimes with one or two leaves lower, the petioles erect the blades spreading, petioles grooved scaly hardly distinct from blade.
