Description: Hirsute plant to 20 cm; stem clothed with reddish hairs, leaves bright green above, paler below, white haired; inflorescences axillary, calyx pale green tinged light purple on the lobes; corolla mauve, lip bearded filaments with bright mauve projections at the base; anthers grey-blue, pollen white; style white, tinged red; staminodes mauve.
