Habitat: Wet and boggy with scattered shrubs in valley bottom along with many acid ponds. Bamboo and Rhododendron thickets on adjacent slopes. Growing on rocks.; Vegetation: Meadow; Aspect: S
Description: Prostrate shrub ca. 10 cm tall or less. Fruit, persistent calyx, and pedicel red.
