Habitat: In cerradao ciliar (gallery cerradao) along the bottom of a narrow valley which must be very damp during the rainy season.
Description: Erect tree, 5m tall, 8cm dbh, with smooth silvery grey bark, in places fissuring into small quadrangular flakes. There are a number of erect trunks close together, presumably from a common root system. Foliage rather yellow-green.
