Description: 3'-4' high branched; basal leaves withered before flowering; stem leaves linear, up to 5' x 1/8'; inflorescence branched, with flowers in axis; involucres hairy 1/2' x 3/32'; flowers deep yellow 1/2' diam.; pappus white.
