Habitat: Savanna with dense pine to 14 m (25% canopy cover); shrub layer with abundant Byrsonima crassifolia to 5 m (occasionally 8 m) and a dense shrub layer to 2 m (20% cover) containing abundant Dodonaea viscosa, frequent Davilla kunthii, Miconia albicans, Clidemia sericea, occasional Acoelorraphe wrightii, Curatella americana & Myrica cerifera. 100% ground cover of tussocky grass (& sedge) with abundant Cassytha filiformis & lots of pine needles.
Description: Frequent herb 60 cm around palmetto.
