Habitat: Open saline coastal savanna. Open grassland dominated by Distichlis spicata (Goodwin 1580) with islands of frequent Rhizophora mangle, Conocarpus erectus, Laguncularia racemosa, Bravaisia berlandieriana & Thrinax radiata. Inundated to 5-10 cm with brackish water.
Description: Occasional herb 40 cm in open areas near mangrove; inflorescence with yellow florets.
