Collecting locality: Belize:Orange Walk:Old Northern Highway; c. 5 Km along road towards Maskall from Carmelita; 300 m North of road.

Habitat: Oak thicket running North to South in open woody savanna. Canopy with frequent Quercus oleoides 12 m (10-30 cm DBH), 40%. Shrub layer (80%) dominated by Calliandra houstoniana 0.5 (1) m, with abundant Byrsonima crassifolia 2 (-3) m, Quercus oleoides 1 m, frequent Pithecellobium lanceolatum 0.5 m & occasional Acoelorraphe wrightii 1 (-3) m. Sparse grass-dominated herb layer (5%) with thin leaf litter (95%). Burnt 2 months previously.
Description: Frequent herb 60 cm; new growth & old inflorescences; vegetation with strong minty scent & a hint of lemon.
