Collecting locality: Belize:Toledo:Deep River Forest Reserve North; ~1 km west of Southern Highway along BFREE access road, ~100 m south of access road.

Habitat: Open woody savanna. Rare Pinus caribaea 10 m (<5%); shrub layer (<10%) of frequent Byrsonima crassifolia 1-4 m, Clidemia strigillosa 1 m, occasional Curatella americana 1-3 m & Miconia albicans 1 m. Herb layer dominated by sedges, 90%, 50 cm deep. Not burnt for 2 years.
Description: Frequent herb to 1 m long tangled in herb layer; flower with white corolla tube and 4 pink corolla lobes.
