Collecting locality: Belize:Cayo:Spanish Lookout; 2 miles west of Spanish Lookout.
Latitude: 17°14'26''N, Longitude: 88°58'4''W
Habitat: Semi-open oak woodland. Abundant Quercus oleoides to 3 m, occasionally to 10 m, Acoelorraphe wrightii 5 m, occasional Byrsonima crassifolia 2-5 m & rare Pinus caribaea 5-10 m. Herb layer dominated by mix of sedges & grass with abundant Cassytha filiformis. Heavily disturbed; evidence of gravel extraction, piles of gravel, artificial drains, tracks & invasive weed species. Allegedly burnt every year, although site appears not to have been burnt for at least one year.
Description: Frequent (locally abundant) vine through herb layer; delicate blue flowers.
