Collecting locality: Belize:Toledo:Mango Creek (4) Forest Reserve; c. 1 Km south of Independence junction on Southern Highway, along Aquar Mar Ltd access road c. 1 Km from Southern Highway.
Latitude: 16°30'23''N, Longitude: 88°27'39''W
Habitat: Medium dense pine savanna, trees ~5% canopy cover, up to 30 cm DBH & 10-12 m. 5o N/S slope from open savanna to woodland, standing water from recent heavy rains. Occasional Quercus oleoides to 8 m, abundant Byrsonima crassifolia up to 2 m forms shrub layer, 20% shrub cover. 80% ground cover by grass tussocks, 15-50cm in height with abundant Cassytha filiformis. Not burnt in recently.
Description: Rare scandent herb creeping through grasses.
