Collecting locality: Belize:Stann Creek:Jenkins Creek; c. 3.5 Km east of Southern Highway & Georgetown Technical High School along Belize Aquaculture Ltd access road, just north of Jenkins Creek.
Latitude: 16°36'41''N, Longitude: 88°27'34''W
Habitat: Open pine & oak woodland savanna fringing gallery forest. Occasional Pinus caribaea 12-15 m, Quercus oleoides 5-8 m, Byrsonima crassifolia 1-2 (-6) m, rare Acoelorraphe wrightii 1-2 m & Curatella americana 1-2 m. Sedge & grass dominated herb layer, 90%, with small open areas of sand. Site not burnt for several years, some evidence of past logging.
Description: Occasional small herb; growing between large sedge & grass tussocks in open places.
