Habitat: Red clay-based soil in floodplain of tributary to South Stann Creek, close to creek; granite bedrock with occasional limestone pockets.; Vegetation: Tropical evergreen, lowland, broadleaf, seasonal forest: Yucatan variant. Dominated by Miconia sp., Pourouma bicolor and tree ferns.
