Habitat: On boulder screes fully exposed to the sun, and in thickets on steep rocky slopes
Description: Forms a thick bush 6 or 8 ft. high and nearly as much through. In young plants the leaves are hairy, but they gradually lose their hairs and become very leathery. Truss 3 flowered. Buds rose, flower white flushed rose with fragrance of violets. Seeds dark coffee coloured
