Habitat: Clearing near the edge of the forest and pine savannah. Damp soil with lots of organic matter on surface.
Description: A 2m tall herb with long green leaves of about a metre long with a light green primary vein, no smell, red-orange long inflorescence, yellow to pale orange stout rachisof flower, bracts close together but not overlapping and pointed tip with the lowest like a large green balde about half feet in length.
