Habitat: Undergrowth of the mountian forests, on brown clay soils.
Description: Small tree. Height 4 m. Bole 2 m. DBH 6 cm. Bark outer grey brown, inner cream-green. Wood straw. Leaves dark green glossy above, pale green below. Fruit pale orange flesh surrounding ca. half of the black seed.
Miscellaneous notes: Seeds for local Botanic Gardens.
