Habitat: Tropical lowland rainforest, moderately open to closed canopy. Soil thin organic rich alluvium derived from Mt. Bosavi volcano
Description: Sepals yellow with faint reddish nervesat the base fading in pale greenish ones Petals yellow with a light green midrib,at the base replaced by some reddish spots, the tip very dark purple. Lip andcolumn yellow. AQnther pale greenish.Peduncle pale yellow; pedicel and ovarysomewhat darker so. Fragrant.
