Collecting locality: Belize:Stann Creek District:Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary; summit of Outlier Peak, ~7 km NW of visitors centre.
Latitude: 16°48'47''N, Longitude: 88°30'16''W
Habitat: Submontane elfin forest, sheltered location at summit dominated by Purdiaea belizensis, Clusia sp & Ternstroemia tepezapote. Numerous epiphytes, filmy ferns and bryophytes. Thin soil over granite rock covered with a thick, spongy layer of mosses.
Description: Seedling 40cm.
Miscellaneous notes: Suspected seedling of ZAG 325.
