Habitat: Area farmed >36 yrs previously. Sparse leaf litter, limestone bedrock.; Vegetation: Tropical, evergreen broadleaf forest: Yucatan variant. Dominated by Sabal mauritiiformis, Bursera simaruba, Metopium brownei & Vitex gaumeri. Canopy of ~12 m.
Description: Rare 12m tree, 9.5cm dbh. Fine grooves and lenticels on grey bark, pale and scentless slash.
