Habitat: Forest edge with abundant herbs. Growing with Piper spp.; leaf litter less than 1 cm deep.
Description: Multi-stemmed herb up to 130 cm; occasionally rooting from nodes; purple- pigments on lower surface of the leaves; very pale purple flower 1 cm long, dark purple line on the lower lip.
