Collecting locality: Belize:Cayo:1km north of Las Cuevas Research Station
Habitat: On a hilltop, west facing, very exposed, scrubby vegetation with bracken, Tournefortia, Cecropia, Boconia. On limestone.
Description: Herb 0.5-0.75m tall, locally common. White latex. Stem has lots of tiny white dots on dark green, a bit hairy. Leaves a little reddish at the base. Lower side of leaf main vein sharply raised. Flowers bright neon pink, inside of corolla and stamens hairy. Green 3-part ovary halfway up the pink style. Many unripe, unexserted stamens remain inside the corolla.
