Habitat: Very open pine savanna, with scattered low shrubs and dominated by grasses and sedges. Recently burnt.
Description: Occasional herb to 40 cm; 6 pale blue-mauve tepals with green at base and dark purple spots; 3 deep blue anthers; 6 lobed bright blue furry stigma; unripe fruit to 2 cm long.
