Habitat: Steep rocky slopes amidst a dense growth of other species..
Description: Scrub plant of 3-4 feet with ascending stems; flowers white, upper lobe speckled with crimson + wiht 5 crimson honey glands on the base of the long corolla. Reddish papery bark peels off revealing a tawny smooth trunk.
Miscellaneous notes: Fairly abundant. The corollas were filled with a struggling mass of small flies, sucking honey from the cup shaped glands. In many flowers these glands were bitten through as hough punches out all round the base.
