Collecting locality: Belize:Cayo:Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve; Baldy Beacon; below summit on southern flank of peak, ~50 m W of helicopter landing pad.

Habitat: Woodland in submontane pine savanna; trees up to 7m high and 20cm dbh including Byrsonima crassifolia, Myrica cerifera, Alcornia latifolia, Clethra sp., Clusiaceae, Melastomataceae, & Araceae. Growing among Cyrilla racemiflora, Quercus oleoides, Hypericum spp., Melastomataceae, Orchidaceae and herbaceous Asteraceae. Soil grey clay, with leaf litter on open patch.
Description: Scandent herb 20cm long, with flowers.
