Tibet, are intermediate between RA, citriniflorum Balf. f. et Forrest and Rh. horacum Balf. f. et Forrest. The flowers are red or crimson, the ovary is glandular, and, on the specimens seen, the bud-scales are completely deciduous and the calyx is shortly lobed.
