Collecting locality: Labadi, along a branch of the Pula He on the road from Gongshan to Kongdang. E side of Gaoligong Shan. E facing 10-30 degree slope.
Latitude: 27° 48' 47'' N, Longitude: 98° 30' 19'' E
Habitat: With scattered Abies and Larix. Growing in flat low area along river among small leaved deciduous broadleaved trees.
Description: Spreading shrub ca. 4 m tall. Bark pale brown and exfoliating. Leaves abaxially with a rusty brown indumentum. Fruit with a rusty brown indumentum.
