Collecting locality: Road along the S fork of the Yamu river, on the road to Armero pass, ca. 23 km SW of the confluence of the N and S forks of the Yamu, E side of Gaoligong Shan.
Latitude: 27° 5' 17'' N, Longitude: 98° 44' 24'' E
Habitat: Subtropical evergreen broadleaf forest with scattered Tsuga and some deciduous tree. Growing on slope in thicket.
Description: Shrub, 4 m tall. Corolla crimson 5, dark nectaries at base of corolla, calyx crimson.
