Habitat: On ledges of hard shale bluffs, in moss on dead trunks & on pathside banks of the uppermost Rain-forest, or lowest Alpine.
Description: Flowers almost over by April 15, in shades of lavender blue with an orange eye; very fringy & sweetly scented like P. farinosa. Range seems limited; no sign of it was seen on the E side of the Pass, & it was only found within a very small belt on the Western.
