Collecting locality: W side of Gaoligong Shan, W of Gongshan, below the pass on the trail from Qiqi to Bapo in the Dulong Jiang valley.

Habitat: Degraded coniferous forest and open sub-alpine areas of wet bogs and wet rocky slopes. Growing on slope along trail.
Description: Shrub ca. 1 m tall. Flowers pale yellow lemon.
