Collecting locality: E side of Gaoligong Shan, in the vicinity of the Daxue Cao waterfall, along the Danzhu He on the road from the Nu Jiang at Danzhu to the Myanmar border.
Latitude: 27° 37' 27'' N, Longitude: 98° 37' 59'' E
Habitat: Mixed broad-leaved evergreen and coniferous forest with most of the conifers having been taken out. Growing among boulders on a grassy slope at margin of forest near the water fall.
Description: Evergreen shrub ca. 80 cm tall. Corolla pale yellow.
