Collecting locality: E side of Gaoligong Shan, along the Danzhu He on the road from Nu Jiang at Danzhu to the Myanmar border.
Latitude: 27° 37' 34'' N, Longitude: 98° 35' 15'' E
Habitat: Wet meadow surrounded by Betula and Larix, between the river and the road.
Description: Evergreen shrub ca. 1 m tall. Young leaves whitened beneath. Corolla reddish orange.
