Habitat: Wet ground at edge of stream. Pine savannah, dense grasses and sedges to 60cm, scattered shrubs (chiefly Melastomataceae). Sandy soil over granite.
Description: Small, spreading patch, <30 stems over 10 x 5 m area. Two stem types: low, arching, creeping stems rooting at approx. 30cm intervals. Upright fertile stems produced at these nodes.
