Habitat: Open woody savanna. Shrub layer (30%) of frequent Acoelorraphe wrightii 2-4 m; occasional Byrsonima crassifolia 3 m & rare Crescentia cujete 3 m. Herb layer rich in grasses & sedges with abundant Cassytha filiformis (70%).
Description: Rare shrub to 50 cm; red flowers with sweet honey scent.
