Collecting locality: Belize:Stann Creek:Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary, 400m south of 14K along Victoria Peak Trail.
Habitat: Tropical evergreen broadleaf moist lowland forest. In valley floor near river. Canopy 20m dominated by Spondias radlkoferi, Xanthoxylum sp. & Virola koschnyi. Thick leaf litter & dark soil, granite bedrock.
Description: Tree, 9m tall, 19.2cm dbh. Auxillary inflorescence of white flowers. White sap. Bark slash - red dimond pattern on cream background.
