Habitat: Forest intermediate between tropical dry forest, tropical moist forest and subtropical moist forest.
Description: Tree 22m tall, DBH 15cm. Bark smooth with a few distinct knobbles. Bark slash pale yellow, oxidising very quickly to chocolate brown, with musky scent. Crushed leaves with witch hazel scent.
