Species: Xanthium strumarium L.
Family: Asteraceae
Description: Scabrid-tomentose annual, 80 cm tall. Stems
branched, tomentose. Leaves deltate, scabrid. Fruiting involucre
subglobose, tomentose-hispid, with hooked spines.
Locality: Wadi Al Khod
Region: Foothills northern Hajar mountains

Habitat: At the moist edge of water flow in gravel
Geology: Quarternary material
Soil: Rock Outcrop Torriorthents: mountains and strongly
