Along the river bank, km 24 along old Baoshan-Liuku road, W side of the Nujiang, ca. 7 km S of the Mangkuan Xiang boundry. Elev. 702 m 25° 9? 35" N, 98° 50’ 54" E W facing 0-10° slope. Subtropical evergreen broadleaf forest. Disturbed by agriculture and felling. Secondary subtropical evergreen broadleaf forest disturbed by felling and agriculture. Perennial herb 10-20 cm tall. Young fruit green. Common. Growing along Nujiang seasonally inundated beach, under rock in shade. In sand on slate.
