Habitat: A fairly common plant on hard-packed gravel/sand, even on soils contaminated by sreading crude oil to stabilise the surface
Description: A low, nearly prostrate annual up to 10cms high and 30 cms across. Central woody root. Succulent branches and leaves, green or often reddish. Flowering since first week of March. Flowers daisy-like with yellow centre, folding up on windy and overcast days
