Habitat: In full sun on light loam on a very steep west facing mountainside with Populus and scattered Abies pindrow
Description: A deciduous tree to 17m with smooth pale grey bark with some striation and lenticels, pinnate leaf to 47cm x 32cm with up to nine ovate acuminate leaflets to 16cm x 6cm, pale green turning yellow above and yellow green with raised veins below, entire, round husks to 4cm diameter, dull purple petiole
