Habitat: Trackside; Vegetation: Open grazed area in Rhododendron campanulatum and Juniperus woodland.
Description: Dwarf shrub to 60cm. Leaves with orange scales beneath. Peduncle and calyx red with yellow scales. Corolla purple-pink, with darker lines on upper petals. Filaments purple-pink, anthers orange. Ovary green, style purple-pink. Fruit green.
