Miscellaneous notes: Same as 8165.This species has darker flowers in larger trusses than those of Rh. tephropeplum - often 9 againat 4 or 5 in the latter. Now in full bloom at its lower limit. 25/5/28. The flowers are not over, after 5 days continuous rain. 3/6/28. In full bloom still on the main ridge nearer the snow fields, at 11,000ft. The crimson stigma is bery conspicuous. 19/5/28
