Collecting locality: Thailand:Chiang Mai:Muang: Dei Sute p-Pui National Park, east side of Dei Pui along the dirt road to Chang Kian Village.
Habitat: Open soil embankment, fire-prone area in the rather open primary evergreen forest; granite bedrock.
Description: Roots thickened, brown; stems, petioles pale light greenish and often with a pinkish hue; infloresence axes pinkish-whitish; pedicels & calyx greenish to pinkish; petals (3) pinkish-whitish; anthers (3) yellow, filaments whitish and often slightly pinkish; style violet; blades either dull dark olive-green and sometimes with light green along the main veins or entirely light green above; underneath maroon or pale light greenish with maroonish main veins.
